I’m Sean Morton—an experienced educator, substitute teacher, musician and creative maker based in Victoria, British Columbia.
I help young people find their voices through literature, history, discussion, film, music and design.
My classroom practice is relational, inclusive and grounded in a simple idea: serious learning can also be imaginative, playful and deeply human.
I’ve taught English and Humanities, supported learners across a wide range of subjects and taught audio production, programming, multimedia design and interactive media at the post-secondary level. I bring that breadth into substitute teaching without losing sight of the class, routines and community already in place.
Whether I’m guiding a story workshop, rehearsing an ensemble or building an interactive learning experience, I keep returning to the same question: how do we help people notice more, listen more closely and make something meaningful?
